This presentation provides you with the facts to expose gardening myths, common gardening misconceptions, and old wive's tales about gardening. Become a garden myth buster!
About the gardener: After retiring from a long career in the computer software industry, Debbie studied fundamentals of horticulture at Brookdale Community College and became a certified Rutgers Master Gardener of Monmouth County in 2015. She is currently co-chairperson of the Speaker’s Bureau committee and is responsible for new program development. She has authored several presentations on a variety of horticultural topics. Debbie has been a home gardener for over 30 years. Since purchasing her home in 1988, she filled her property with perennial borders, container gardens, and a small vegetable garden. As part of her community service, she leads a team of volunteers at the Church of St. Anselm in Tinton Falls to grow and donate fresh organic produce to local food pantries.
