Artwork by Daniel Pompeo In-Person

Daniel Pompeo is a full-time painter with works consisting of landscapes, still life, abstracts and folk art.  He uses mixed media such as pastels, acrylics and watercolors.  Working as a Creative Director he had guidelines to follow; now retired, he is free to explore different creative areas to incorporate into his work.  This has allowed him to participate in many shows and exhibit the work he loves so much.

Daniel also creates beautiful wood carvings of Old World Santas, rustic angels, and Folk Art plaques.

His work will be on display at the Eastern Branch through the end of October.  Paintings and hanging work can be viewed in the library meeting room, and his wood carvings are on display in the library lobby exhibit cases.

Daniel Pompeo is a native New Yorker who grew up in the Soho area surrounded by many artists.  He graduated from Parsons School of Design as a Graphic Designer and attended Pratt Institute School of Design.  Retired from his full-time position as a Creative Director for several different companies in NY and NJ, he now resides in Manalapan. For more information, visit the artist's website at Pompeodesigns.com.
