Art Reception: May is Here by Debora Bruno In-Person
Meet photographer Debora Bruno from 1:00 - 4:00 pm.
Debora Santiago Bruno's love of photography is one of the most important aspects of her life. Her work includes portrait, still life, nature and scenery, black and white, infrared, color, and computer enhanced photography. Landscapes and architecture subjects are her favorites. When she is shooting these elements, she tries to capture the best quality of light to produce a result that is remarkable.
Debora has exhibited in many places, including the Middletown Public Library, Brookdale Community College, the Guild of Creative Art, Art Alliance, Freehold Art Society, the County Clerk's Office of Freehold, and the Monmouth Museum, among others.
Her work has been published in Collage Magazine, and she received honorable mentions in the MCAC Juried Art Show 2003, and the Brookdale Community College Student Art Show in 2005 and 2006. She was awarded First Place in best alternative category for her piece entitled "Empire State Building" at the juried show Open Eyesights in March 2007, and First Place in the 15th Juried Art Show at the Guild of Creative Art in October 2007.
Debora's photographs will be on display for the month of May.
