Ellen Rubinstein Photography Exhibit "For Love of Nature" - Displayed for the month of August
Meet the photographer at a reception at the library on Saturday, August 16, 2025, 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
"For Love of Nature" is a colorful and varied display of images from different seasons, each one offering its own appeal. Some of the images are clearly representative, while others appear as abstractions, generally due to their scale. Examples of the latter are ‘Wave’, which portrays a small section of ripples on a pond, and ‘Pebbles’, which is a macro image of small stones in a shallow stream.
"Throughout my life, I have been inspired to capture fragments of the beauty of nature by means of photography. My images reflect the natural peace surrounding us, focusing on light and form. Nature is continually presenting us with visually striking moments which will never be repeated. It is our challenge to notice, appreciate, and preserve them." says photographer Ellen Rubinstein.
Ellen Rubinstein is a member of local art organizations and has shown work and received awards in several of these venues: Monmouth Arts, Monmouth Museum, Art Alliance of Red Bank, Guild of Creative Arts, Art Society of Monmouth County.
