Fall Embroidery with Jenny Santa Maria In-Person

Embroidery is a timeless art form of stitching that has been practiced for centuries, making it one of the oldest and most cherished folk traditions. This beginner-friendly class is designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of embroidery, from selecting materials to mastering essential stitches. Hosted by Art Coach and Teaching Artist Jenny Santa Maria, this workshop blends expert guidance with a warm, encouraging environment, making it the perfect introduction to the timeless craft. No prerequisite skills required, all supplies included.

Jenny has taught folk art traditions in a variety of settings to a wide audience since 2008. She has worked with dozens of libraries, galleries, Art Centers, Garden Centers, and Art Museums on the East Coast including Brattleboro Art Museum in Vermont, Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton NJ, the Newport Art Museum in Rhode Island, the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors in Wappingers Falls, NY and the Center for Contemporary Art in Hudson Valley. Her work has been featured in numerous periodicals including the Wall Street Journal.
