All History is Local: The Role of Black and Indigenous Peoples in the Revolution In-Person
During the Revolutionary War, about 10,000 or 4% of the Colonial army were Black, and an unknown number of Native Americans participated on both the American and British sides. This presentation will emphasize individual Black and Native Americans who fought at the Battle of Monmouth on June 28, 1778. Presented by Dr. David Martin.
