Healthy Homes In-Person

In the “8 Principles of Healthy Homes” presentation, Matthew R. Manthey educates communities on how health and wellness inside the home translates into health and wellness for the individuals and families occupying the home. He brings his professional value to the table by providing tips and strategies on making one’s home the best possible place to live.  

Matthew Manthey is an  Environmental Specialist, program coordinator, educator, and state-licensed New Jersey Lead Inspector-Risk Assessor. He has over 11+ years in the industrial hygiene industry with a specialization in lead. In the last 6 1/2 years, Matthew has been in public health helping families while focusing on childhood lead poisoning prevention.

Matthew currently serves as the Central New Jersey Lead & Healthy Homes Coalition Coordinator for the six (6) counties of Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, and Somerset Counties. He uses his technical expertise, networking skills, Spanish language fluency, and experience to educate, energize, and inspire communities and coalition program partners on dealing with complex issues of lead. Matthew also currently serves as a case management field inspector in the childhood lead program at Monmouth County Department of Health in Freehold, NJ to fight the good fight against lead poisoning in New Jersey.
