Emergency Preparedness In-Person

Join Holmdel Library and the Monmouth County Department Of Health and Human Services to learn what types of emergencies to expect in New Jersey & what to do in an emergency.  Discover what supplies to have available for you, your family & even your pets, and learn ​​​​​basic emergency management skills to help you & your families. Find out more about the public education campaign implemented by the Monmouth County Office of Emergency Management to inform residents of the new hurricane evacuation zones and their vulnerability to storm surge called "Know Your Zone".  Find out what a "Go bag" is and what goes in it. Get ideas on what makes a good disaster plan and learn Monmouth County's role in an emergency. 

Hurricane season begins on June 1, be storm ready with the library!
