Museum Passes

Always check the museum's website for the latest information on guidelines, hours of operation, and closings before reserving passes.

The Monmouth County Library is pleased to offer our Museum Pass Program. This exciting program allows adult patrons (age 18 and over) who reside in or own property in member municipalities to reserve passes with their Monmouth County Library card in good standing. Member municipalities can be found here. For additional questions, please call your local library branch or mcl@monmouthcountylib.org.

 

  • Museum passes can be reserved up to 45 days in advance, subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Digital passes must be reserved online. For assistance, call your local branch
  • Each pass is designated for one-time use. There is no charge to reserve a museum pass.
  • You can reserve one (1)  museum pass per day, however, you are not permitted to duplicate the same museum within a week.
  • Enter your PIN when reserving museum pass.
    If you don't have a PIN, create one here.
  • Your Monmouth County Library card must be in good standing to reserve passes.
    Cards with fines exceeding $25 will block a reservation.  
  • Digital museum pass is only valid for the reserved date of visit. 
  • Patron listed on the pass must be present to redeem the pass. Bring your library card and photo ID to the museum for check in.
  • Remember to always check the museum's website for the latest information on guidelines, hours of operation, and closings before reserving passes. Library is not responsible for museum dates and hours, which are subject to change.

Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University

Each pass admits 2 adults and 5 children. The oldest natural sciences institution of the Americas is down the street from the famous Rocky steps in Philadelphia.

African American Museum in Philadelphia

Each pass admits 4 adults and 8 children. Near Philadelphia’s Liberty Bell, visit the first city-created African-American museum in the country and explore the vibrant history and contributions of the African-American community.

Battleship New Jersey

Each pass admits 2 adults and up to 3 children. Docked at Camden Waterfront Park, board the legendary USS New Jersey, the most decorated battleship in Naval history! History buffs and military enthusiasts relive the stories of bravery and valor from this iconic warship.

Children's Museum of Manhattan

Each pass admits 4 guests. The Children’s Museum of Manhattan is a playground for young minds, with five exciting floors of hands-on exhibits for kids to dive into creativity, the arts, science, health, and world cultures. Exhibits also help families understand how young children learn, and how to spark a love for learning that lasts a lifetime.

Museum of the American Revolution
